Upperline Fried Green Tomates with Shrimp Remoulade

Recipe calls for Buttermilk, however recipe discusses 'whisking together egg and milk'. So, suggest you clarify that, though buttermilk is suggested, egg and milk can be substituted. Use 1 egg and 1/2 C milk. ... Dip tomato slices into Buttermilk or egg mixture, then coat.....

Note: Suggest adding: After placing tomatoes in saute pan, do not move until ready to turn over.

REMOULADE SAUCE -
Hummmmmmmmmmm. Is this the sauce that we used?? Photo looks like ingredients may have been blended in a processer rather than chopped.

Maybe directions should say: Combine mustard, ketchup, worster, horserad, garlic, lem juice, peppers and salt, place in blender and add olive oil in slow stream on low speed. ???
Then, rest of directions.

I remember making this Rem sauce but am not certain just how (there were so many of these sauces that we made!)

I plan to try it again here in L.A. and will let you know.
